Pitztal Glacier

A unique mountain experience, open to everyone

High above St. Leonhard, the Mittelbergferner glacier stretches between 2,685 m and 3,440 m. Its altitude makes it one of the most snow-sure ski areas in Europe, and in summer it opens as a hiking and mountaineering world of eternal ice.

You don't need to be a mountaineer to stand here. Modern cable cars carry every guest comfortably to the top, where the peaks of the main Alpine ridge feel close enough to touch. From the Landhaus, the glacier is an easy trip up the valley.
